William "Bill" E. Zeis' Obituary
William E. Zeis, 56, of Six Lakes, MI passed away on October 26, 2025. He was born in Lansing, Michigan to the late Carol (Bailey) Borring and Art Zeis on August 30, 1969. Bill was raised in Lansing, graduated Lansing Everett High School in 1987 and moved to Six Lakes in 1991. Bill spent many years as a Tool & Die Machinist and was employed by various manufacturing plants.
Bill had a love for music that only those who shared the same deep passion could truly understand. He spent countless hours playing his guitars and listening to all his favorite songs. For many years, Bill was the bass guitarist in a band and had the thrilling experience of opening Blue Oyster Cult once. Music was a huge part of who Bill was, and he will be forever remembered for it.
Bill is survived by his three children, Zachary and Samantha Zeis of Cass City, Dereck Zeis and Desiray Sadler of Crystal and Kira Zeis of Lakeview; two grandchildren, Kade Zeis and Tatum Zeis; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, step-father, Bob Borring, Jr., sister, Kempeni Zdunic and brother, Roger Darling.
A graveside service will be planned at a later date.
