Valerie M. Chapman's Obituary
Big Rapids Valerie M. Chapman, 46, of Big Rapids, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009, at her residence. She was born November 30, 1961, in Big Rapids, the daughter of Leonard and Karry Ann (Hamilton) Moline, and lived in the area her entire life. In 1981, she graduated from Chippewa Hills High School. Valerie worked at Metron Nursing Center as housekeeper, and for 7 years as a Nurses Aid. She has also kept house for local families for many years. Valerie attended church with the Covenant of Grace Christian Ministries in Big Rapids. Surviving are her mother, Karry Ann Moline of Evart; 2 brothers, Craig and Mark, both of Evart; a special family friend Louann Mroz of Vandalia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her father Leonard preceded her in death in 2007. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Ron Weller officiating. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Valeries name may be left in care of the funeral home, where her family will greet friends after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
