I have fond memories of seeing Susan and her husband in their boat on Blue Lake. They would stop by to visit my parents at their cottage on Blue Lake. It was always fun times with lots of smiles.

always the purest, fondest memories of aunt sue rice, one of the sweetest people i knew as young person. she always had a smile and a hug for me & was true family to the whole raycraft crew. we love you, forever.
When Rob and I got our own place on Blue Lake, Sue gifted us with a jar of her homemade jam with a darling handmade ribbon with a fishing bobber on it with a sweet and simple note "Welcome back to Blue!" Sue proceeded to take me on the tour of the Amish country to show me where to buy the best flowers (which her yard was full of), baked goods and produce. She knew every one of the women at the stands by name, their husbands and children. They clearly had a great fondness for her ~ but who didn't?
Jim, Kyle and Mitch and family, may your memories fill your heart with the wonderful life Sue lived. Her smile was genuine, contagious and abundant. She was a true gem.
Rest in peace Sue, you will be greatly missed.
I met Sue in the late 1970s and we remained life long friends. She loved her family and dog and enjoyed decorating her cottage and making crafts. I was lucky to get a beautiful handmade card for every occasion. We always had a fun time together. From canning peaches to sunset cruises on our beloved Blue Lake our friendship grew. I will miss you my dear friend.
