Michele R. Strum's Obituary
Paris Michele Renee (Wright) Sturm, 42, of Barton Township, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July, 31, 2008, at her home. She was born June 24, 1966, in Lansing, the daughter of Rahn and Wanda Jean (Selfridge) Wright, and graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1984. Michele earned her Associates Degree, and was currently employed at Baldwin Family Health Care as a Dental Assistant. Michele is survived by her parents, Wanda Jean and John Avey of Paris, and Rahn and Bonnie Wright of Laingsburg; sister Rhonda Kay Wright; grandmothers Frieda Selfridge and Mae Avey; uncle Donald R. (Lynn) Selfridge Jr.; aunts Mary Jane Vogt, Florence Selfridge, Linda Wilcox, Ann Avey and Jann LaRocque; and several nephews and cousins. Michele was preceded in death by grandparents Howard and Audreta Wright, Donald R. Selfridge Sr., and Harold Avey; and uncles Gary Wright and James F. Avey. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Rev. Jon Fleming officiating. Memorial contributions for the Baldwin Family Health Care Dental Clinic for the Continuing Education Fund may be sent to 1615 Michigan, Baldwin, Michigan 49304, or left at the funeral home, where Micheles family will greet friends after 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
