Jacques Lee Roberts' Obituary
Jacques Lee Roberts, 70, of Mecosta, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was born April 19, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan.
Jack had a deep love for his family and for caring for others—whether kids, animals, or neighbors in need. He had the greatest pride and love for his grandchildren Auryn, Patricia, Alesia and Danny Jr. So much that his wallet would barely close due to the amount of pictures of them he always carried with him. He was passionate, authentic, independent, stubborn at times, and truly one-of-a-kind. With his spunky personality, Jack made an impression on everyone he met. He had a lifelong love of cars, especially his Corvettes, and enjoyed nothing more than driving them fast. He also had a strong appreciation for music, which filled many of his days.
Jack is survived by his grandson, Auryn Roberts; daughter-in-law, Leslie Roberts; sister, Cheri (John) Gerst; niece, Angel (Gary) Moore; nephews, Jack (Kristin) Bentley and Johnny Gerst; grandchildren, Patrica Mays, Alesia VanZant, Danny VanZant Jr; great-nieces, Alyssa Moore and Everley Artman; great-nephews, Jaiden Bentley and Braedon Killian; three siblings; and his close friends, neighbors, and caretakers, Darren, Darcy, and Jay.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved son, Adam Roberts.
No services are planned at this time. Care and arrangements are entrusted to Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
