Beatrice Reeves' Obituary
Beatrice “Bea” Reeves, age 70 of Mecosta, MI passed peacefully with family by her side on February 2, 2025.
Bea was born November 18, 1954 in Detroit. Bea married the love of her life, Terry Reeves on June 16, 1979. Bea and Terry spent their lives together for nearly 41 years, living in MI where they met and then for a time in TX, PA, and DE before returning to MI. They enjoyed traveling together and enjoyed trips to the Caribbean and many parts of the United States. Bea will be forever remembered by her brother Chris Gariepy, her cousin Nancy (Jonathyn) Truax and Diane Kirby as well as many other family members. Bea was preceded in death by her beloved husband Terry, her mother and father Gene and Beatrice Gariepy and her twin sister Jean Gariepy.
A service for Bea will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Remus, MI on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, with a private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Toni & Trish House in Auburn, MI (toniandtrishhouse.org) and/or the American Cancer Society, (cancer.org).
Either would be greatly appreciated. Bea had a love for life, an infectious laugh and smile for everyone she met and will be greatly missed.
