“I chose the Janowicz Family Funeral Home for my mother's services solely because it's located in Edmore, near our family cemetery. It's the same place where we held the memorial for my grandmother 54 years ago! The venue feels very much the same but this time I was coordinating the arrangements and from out of state. From my first early morning call to Melissa to the conclusion of the burial, I felt cared for, understood and respected. I had the good fortune of working with Jessica who manages the Edmore location. She has the unique ability to convey empathy while keeping the details of planning a difficult event on the track for the timeframe we wanted. She was professional, has a soothing personality, can problem solve quickly, is resourceful, knows all about available contacts and has the eye of an interior designer. Anyone would want Jessica on their team and that's the comforting approach Janowicz Family Funeral Home employs. No matter when you call or who you talk to, they know you and how to help or provide information. I could go on, but the important point of my review is that I would highly recommend them. The casket and mother's visitation was perfect. My mother looked beautiful and at peace! God Bless!”

“I wanted to reach out and thank Melissa herself for being such a wonderful soul. I am not immediate family to the young man we buried yesterday 11/5/25. I am the grandma on the grand babies mommas side. Typically us grand parents are off in the background with a heavy heart just trying to take care of the babies so the parent has their day to grieve and say their goodbyes. My heart is broken and I have to watch my daughter’s heart be broken with nothing I can do, but Melissa just has something about her. She reached out to me and it felt so personal. She just wanted to know if I was doing ok or if I needed anything to drink. I felt her heart break for me. She made my whole day easier just knowing she felt was I was going through. Has my mind wondering if I am able to help others the way she does. My grand daughters father only 18 had been gone off of this physical earth for sometime and yet they had him looking like he just walked through the door of my house and said “hey ma” I just can’t thank you enough for everything! Good bless all you, including those working behind the scenes to make sure families are taken care of in time of need. ”
