Our condolences and love to the family of Ed Meier, from former Carmel Ct. Southfield neighbors, Selma and Newton Freedman, daughters Fran Goran of Bloomfield Hills, and Barbara Singer of Raleigh, NC. The cul-de-sac neighbors were the best. Twelve young families having children, celebrating holiday’s together, and putting up a flag on the landscaped island, we all maintained. How we mourned Pat, as our family, and welcomed Sheila, our new neighbor and Ed’s spouse. There are so many wonderful stories to tell. I believe we were next door neighbors for more than 20 years, before Ed and Sheila moved to Big Rapids. Our best regards to the family.
