John Lintemuth
John S. Lintemuth, age 77 of Big Rapids went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2010.
He was born on November 29, 1932 in Big Rapids, the son of Frank and Hazel (Smith) Lintemuth. John worked at Wolverine World Wide for 30 years retiring from Plant C in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-55.
John loved to fish, hunt and camp. He will be remembered by many who played on little
league teams that he coached. He was a long time member of Big Rapids Free Methodist Church. John was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda, three children, Marvin of
Rodney. Brenda (Donald) Eveland of Paris, Eric (Joni) of Cadillac, 6 grandchildren R.J., Tia, Tonya, Joshua, Erica, Rebecca plus 6 greatgrandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Taylor, Skylar, Parker John and Macee.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Mohnke Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Kadar officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Big Rapids Free Methodist Church or Mecosta County Senior Center.

John,was a kind and gentle man ….He had a great love for the outdoors.I will always remember our hunting talks and his and Linda’s hospitality ………..I know that he is in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ enjoying that which was prepared for him…….God Bless Linda and family……
