Weldon was my good buddy…he could make me laugh on a hard day at work…he lit up a room around him with his beautiful smile. Everyone enjoyed Weldon’s humor and joking attitude. Weldon worked very hard at his therapy and made remarkable strides during his stay at Altercare. I so enjoyed seeing him strive and achieve some of his goals, like blowing up a balloon…he tried and tried to blow up a balloon everyday for over a week, and when he finally was able to do so…he saved the prized balloon for his lovely wife Lois. We draw a cute face or other designs on them after that and he saved most of them. Weldon always had a way of making us feel important. He was a special friend to me and I’ll miss him greatly but will alway remember him, especially in my everyday work providing therapy to other residents…like when having someone blow up a balloon, or joking around with some of the residents, because that is what he did best…making us laugh. ;o) So long my good friend…see you in heaven.
