Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Marie White.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service is being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mecosta County Medical Center Foundation for Home Health Care. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.

To Harold and Family,
This is Faye Thomas and I just wanted to say that I am truly sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person. A great wife, mother and grandmother. I have really fond memories of her and our times together at Ferris. Ross, I don’t know if you remember me but I think of you often. She is propably up there superving our homecoming with her and knowing Jean she has it all under control. I tried calling but no answer. I will try again in a few days. Again God be with you and cherish those memories. I am.
