Before Zonna was born we were Aunt Dorthy and Uncle Doc’s kids. I remember how special it was to be able to stay over night at their house. We would have bowls of ice cream with all kinds of different toppings, on them. I can remember opening boxes that came thru the mail that had beautiful dresses in them for my sister and I that were from my aunt Dorthy. In recent years we would talk on the phone sometimes for hours. I would question her about my German heritage and she could tell me about people and things without a skip or lapse in her memory. She will be sadly missed. Zonna and family I am so sorry for your loss, but Heaven’s great gain.
