BIG RAPIDS - Lori Ann Poirot, 48, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at her home. 

She was born to Ralph and Letitia Poirot in Royal Oak, MI on September 5, 1960.  She resided in Eastport, MI and attended school in Central Lake, MI.  Lori then graduated from Ferris State University.  She continued to reside in the Big Rapids area after graduation and primarily worked with Social Services in Mecosta County.

She has battled Lupus for many years.  She is survived by her son, Seth, and her brother Gregory (Cynthia) Poirot of East Jordan, MI, and her sister Denise (Gregory) Bock of Mancelona, MI.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Trinity Fellowship, 15085 220th Avenue, Big Rapids, with Elder Bill Routley and Pastor Gerhard deBock officiating.
