Big Rapids – Margaret L. “Peggy” White, 58, of Saranac, formerly of Big Rapids, a person of special needs, passed away Monday, November 18, 2008 in Saranac, Michigan.
 
She was born February 11, 1950, in Big Rapids, the daughter of John D. and Elizabeth L. “Beth” (Buirgy) White.
 
Peggy is survived a brother, John D. White Jr. “Jack” of Miami, FL; a sister, Nancy J. Corrigall of Georgetown, SC; 2 nieces, Tara C. Corrigall of Virginia Beach, VA, Mona L. (Michael) Filchock; 2 grand nieces, Jordan and Amanda Filchock; a grand nephew, Joshua Filchock, all of Powder Springs, GA; and a nephew, Ian H. Corrigall (Kathy) of Purcellville, VA. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother-in-law, Keith H. Corrigall.
 
A memorial graveside service at Highland View Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions for the Michigan Special Olympics, which Peggy enjoyed participating, may be sent to: East Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, MI 48859. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home, Big Rapids.
