Florida – Eric Bobby Ray Morris, 26, of Brandon, FL., formally of Big Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Brandon Regional Hospital in Florida.
 
He was born March 31, 1982, in Canon City, CO., the son of Dale and Vicki (Rustemeyer) Morris.  
Eric always had a cheerful nature, a generous spirit, and loving heart. He is greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
 
Eric is survived by his parents Dale and Vicki Morris; siblings, Dale Morris Jr., Matthew (Regina) Morris, Robert Morris, Jessica (Todd) Meeuwes, Jaquie and Destiny Morris; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Eric was preceded in death by his daughter, Mataiah, his grandparents Wilma and William, and Launa Hammett.
 
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Rev. Ron Weller officiating.  Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery. Eric’s family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday before service.
