Paris – Gregory D. Vandawater, 49, of Paris, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008, at Mecosta County Medical Center

He was born June 10, 1958, in Reed City, the son of B. Edward and Eleanor (Sweet) Vandawater.  Greg graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1976, and has lived in the area since.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Amanda Sue (Terry) VanWestrienen of Morley, Trisha Vandawater of Twin Lake; a granddaughter Samantha VanWestrienen; his father Ed (Vicky Lindsey) of Paris; a brother Denny of Big Rapids; 2 sisters, Candi (Michael) Lewis of Big Rapids, Denise (Kevin) Allers of Paris; a niece Kendra Lewis; and a nephews Preston Allers.  He was preceded in death by his mother Eleanor in 1992.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2008, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.  Greg’s family will greet friends at the funeral home after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
